In alignment with our design value to be unique, we foster a distinctive visual identity by using graphic elements that are tailored to our needs. It is important to avoid the use of generic and stock graphics, and rather utilize our custom graphics that are developed for core Webalo ideas and concepts we want to represent visually.
The use of icons should be considered when visual representations can effectively communicate ideas, simplify complex concepts, and engage the audience in a more memorable and impactful way. When an icon fails to clearly communicate a concept, including it will only produce visual clutter and create an additional barrier to connecting with the content - any use of icons should be carefully considered.
When incorporating a set of graphics that are seen in conjunction with our brand or product, it’s crucial to ensure a uniform visual expression to assist in creating a cohesive visual language. This pertains both to how the graphics relate to each other, but also how they relate to our branding. A disparate set of graphics will degrade the perception of clarity, consistency, and recognizability.
